Reduction linocut prints are made by consecutively hand carving each color “image” onto the same linoleum block, printing each color between carvings to build the final image. This reductive process creates a limited edition print, that once printed cannot be duplicated with the same linoleum block, for this reason, they are numbered.
This framed print is 1 of 10, printed on an 8” x 10” sheet of acid free, lightweight printmaking paper with non-toxic polymerized vegetable oil inks. The frame is Peruvian walnut with milk paint accents.
